Clarence Magno
Clarence Magno is the Lab Manager at E11 Bio. His philosophy as a Lab Manager is to minimize urgencies while optimizing lab personnel work flow.
Clarence holds a BFA in Music from California Institute of the Arts, along with a minor in Critical Studies with a focus in Science (which really just means exploring the ideas of combining music and science with a critical lens). For most of his working life he worked as a bench jeweler for a local designer. With a continuing curiosity for science, he made a career shift away from the jewelry studio and into the lab with a hope to learn through osmosis. While working in lab operations, he’s helped build labs that focused in food, mycology, and now brain imaging.
On his free time, Clarence loves meditating, cooking (mainly the eating part of cooking), and composing (bad) soundtrack improvisations on one of his 23 instruments to accompany streamed videos while cuddled up with his partner and four cats.
