Kathleen Leeper

Kathleen is a scientist and technology developer at E11 Bio, developing strategies for robustly and uniquely identifying millions of neurons. Prior to E11, she worked on technologies for genomic recording as founding member & quartermaster of Reza Kalhor’s lab at Johns Hopkins (Kalhor et al., Science 2018; Leeper et al., Nature Protocols 2021). Before that, she worked in George Church’s group at Harvard on a diverse range of technologies, including spatial transcriptomics + super resolution microscopy, cell engineering, and CRISPR-enabled lineage tracing.

Kathleen has library cards in five cities on two coasts (and one island). Her favorite moment of a dinner party is the 11pm espresso.
